Uplifting and edifying!!! That’s how we can described the feeling that we’ve had after hearing powerful testimonies from different achievers when Edmark Accra held its 1st Social Day for the year 2010, on the 30th of January, with Joeboy Tingson and Maame Afful as the two super outstanding emcees. The well attended event was designed to recognize achievers for the months August, September, October and November 2009. In all, Managers, Sapphire Managers and Ruby Managers were recognized respectively.

It was a memorable day in the lives of the achievers and proud family members who were heralded with cheers and joyful music as they made their way to the main auditorium of the Teachers’ Hall. Dressed in their colorful System Uniforms, the achievers were ushered into their various seats greeted by powerful dance energizers from staffs and distributors.

In his opening remarks, CM Christian Tetteh congratulated the achievers for their success. He said they were a living testimony that hard work really pays. He revealed that the Edmark business was about patience and perseverance and urged them to remain committed so as to reach the very top.

Giving his testimony, “latest Manager in town” Austin Onwordi a Mechanical Engineering student said before he became an Edmarker, he always had problems paying his tuition fees and therefore considered quitting school at a point. But Edmark, he explained, had provided him with hope that one day he would be able to build his own car.

Somewhere during the program, our outstanding emcees asked the distributors if they are aware of our latest jingle, the “Feel Good Now” which was sung exceptionally by none other than our President Mr. Joey Urquia and the ever dynamic Mr. Dennis Evangelista. Adrenalin rises as all started to sing their heart out!!! Edmark! Feel Good Now!!!

To continue with, SM Damian Uduba also urged all those on the fringes to get on board the ship sailing towards the Edmark City. He said Edmark has provided him with the insurance for his family and generations to come.

Part of the program was the short uplifting message of our dear Gen. Manager of Edmark International, Ms. Lynden C. Valdez. She thanked all for attending the social day as well as the ever supportive leaders. Then she invited everybody to attend the upcoming International Convention and Grand Launching of the company which will happen on the 27th of February 2010, Saturday, 3pm at the National Theater, Accra, Ghana.

In her closing remarks, CM Penueliah Agbevenu waxed philosophical when she said ‘A Goal Set was a Goal Scored’. Elaborating on her point, she revealed that her secret to scoring had always been her ability to set targets. Her inspiration, she further revealed had always been Edmark success stories like the Demordzies’ and the Kuplers’. She therefore urged all present to work within an achievable time frame because the Edmark business was not a turtle and hare race. She advised them to take inspiration from people like her who came to Edmark with nothing but now living a comfortable life. Finally, she tasked them to spread the good news about Edmark so as to bring joy and happiness into the lives of all Ghanaians.

EM Peter Brown and CM John Addo were also recognized as distributors with Highest Sales and Highest Frequency of Purchase respectively.
We say Ayeekoo to all of them!!!
